Al-Esnad offers clients a wide variety of services, from designing critical parts to integrating custom solutions, all from Al-Esnad’s Saudi-based factory.

 

Design and Engineering

With a highly-skilled Saudi-based on premise R&D team, Al-Esnad is able to design any component that the client needs, with a thorough design process that guarantees a high-quality finished product.

Using the incredibly powerful SolidWorks CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software from Dassault Systèmes, Al-Esnad is also capable of reverse engineering just about any component that a client needs, in order to create replacement parts, or to reengineer it to improve efficiency, performance, or structural integrity.

 

Machinery and Forming

Al-Esnad’s Saudi-based factory is stocked with cutting edge machinery for high-quality machining and forming. These include a CNC turning lathe, a 2000 x 3000 mm water jet cutter, a 200 ton press brake, a shearing machine, and huge CNC vertical milling machine, measuring 500 x 650 x 1000 mm.

These fine pieces of machinery are manned by expert engineers, and are very efficient in their operations and output.

 

Harnesses

Since 2009, Al-Esnad has been manufacturing high-quality electrical wiring harnesses at their Saudi-based factory. Crafting more than 100 types of harnesses, Al-Esnad has completed more than 25,000 units.

The harnesses are built in a closed and isolated 500 m² facility. Expert craftsmen build the wiring looms, and then test them on Al-Esnad’s Automatic Test System, which can have over 250 harnesses connected to it for testing. These wiring harnesses are created according to client specifications, and are delivered with the trademark Al-Esnad quality.

In an effort to excel in this arena, Al-Esnad is finalizing the establishment of “Ray Service ME” in Riyadh: a Joint-Venture with Ray Service a.s., a Czech innovative manufacturing and trading company that provides outstanding solutions in cable harnesses, electromechanical assemblies, electronic equipment, and cable components for a wide range of aviation and defense customers.

 

Integration and Installation

For several years now, Al-Esnad has been integrating and installing equipment and systems on several vehicle types at their Saudi-based factory. The installations are done by expert engineers who have years of experience and knowledge.

• Navigation & GPS systems for land vehicles, to enable troops to find their way on the battlefield
• Fire Suppression systems to combat blazes on vehicles to minimize damage to them
• Communication systems to allow troops and vehicles to coordinate with each other on the field
• GPKs (Gunner Protection Kits) and EPKs to protect the lives of soldiers on vehicle platforms like the Humvee
• Ammunition and Weapons Stowage compartments to keep firearms, hand weapons, and rounds safe from the heat of battle
• EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) equipment to diffuse unexploded bombs and landmines, protecting troops and enabling them to carry out their missions safely

In addition, Al-Esnad can integrate any piece of equipment onto almost any vehicle, in accordance to client specifications. Whether it is a gun turret on a Humvee or radio systems in a tank, Al-Esnad’s talented and professional engineers have the capability to craft unique solutions that accomplish the client’s mission.

 

Refurbishment

Over the past decade, Al-Esnad has been part of modernizing and refurbishing military vehicles, backed by experienced engineers and technicians.

 

Coating and Painting

For 12 years, Al-Esnad has been, along with designing, manufacturing, and refurbishing parts, coating and painting vehicles and parts from its own in-house paint booth. The booth is comprised of an automatic conveyor system, an oven for baking the fresh paint, filters, and a flash-off unit.

The booth is designed to handle pieces up to 2 meters long, and is used for several types of coating, including:

• Zinc-nickel and cadmium for steel parts
• Hard anodizing and chromate coating for aluminum parts
• Epoxy / polyurethane-based CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) paint for wet coating

The quality of the applications rival the best in the business, with consistently positive reactions for 12 years straight, and meets and surpasses the internationally-accepted Global Standard. All paints and coating materials undergo comprehensive quality testing regularly to ensure a quality finish on every application every time.
